Vrata's radio activities include DXing and Contesting on HF, VHF and UHF (QRV 70 cm to 160m), and a preference in the CW and Digi modes (incl. SSTV).

Vrata is a member of FOC and the Czech Contest Club, CCC, nr. 19.
